Redfern Station Upgrade Update May 2023

During May, work will continue on on the New Southern Concourse, new station entrances and shared zones in Little Eveleigh and Marian streets and footpath upgrades on Ivy Street. 

The standard construction hours are 7am to 6pm Monday to Friday and 8am to 6pm Saturday.

Weekend work dates:

• 2am Saturday 6 to 2am Monday 8 May
• 2am Saturday 13 to 2am Monday 15 May - Platform 10 pedestrian access will be closed during this period
• 2am Saturday 20 to 2am Monday 22 May 

Lawson street utility and road works 

In May, weekend utility and road works are planned to occur at the corner of Little Eveleigh and Lawson Streets. A single westbound lane closure on Lawson Street will be in place, which may cause minor traffic delays. Traffic control and signage will assist motorists, cyclists, and pedestrians. Timing of this work is still being determined. Directly impacted stakeholders will be contacted directly to provide further details prior to works starting.
