A classically trained jazz musician with recent sell-out shows in Sydney, delivering an infectious sound of sophistication, fun and street heat. Vintage synthesisers, drum machines and throbbing bass are used exclusively to present Benét’s views on life, love and relationships through the power of song.

Hailing from the Eastern Highlands and New Ireland provinces of Papua New Guinea and now Sydney Australia-based, Ngaiire’s sound melds electronic neo-soul, gospel, and big pop sounds, strained through the lens of a First Nations Papua New Guinean songwriter. She is described by Rolling Stone as “a near perfect slice of hushed future soul, the muted synths cushioning Ngaiire’s endlessly expressive vocal performance”.

From the underground Hip hop/RnB scene of Western Sydney A.GIRL has emerged into national recognition with a swag of raw talent, attention-grabbing moments of musical brilliance and a sing-rap style uniquely hers. Her live performances are a roller coaster ride of spitting bars, vocal virtuosity rarely seen by a rapper, and spoken word poetry that grabs your attention from the first line.
Thursday, October 5
Having shape-shifted his way through a range of sounds and styles over the past decade, from dubby experiments in jungle and electronica, to rolling house grooves and the sample-based soul of his 'Yeah Definitely' album with Setwun, Sydney's own Hugh B, returns to the stage with an entirely new project, while bringing a band of talented musicians along for the ride.
