Celebrate Mardi Gras at South Eveleigh

It’s one of Sydney’s brightest and best celebrations so what better way to get into the swing of all things Mardi Gras than by enjoying all the entertainment there is to offer here at South Eveleigh.

From 7.30-9.30am on Tuesday March 1, South Eveleigh workers, staff and visitors will have to be prepared for a few surprises as they start their week here at South Eveleigh.

Apart from a big Mardi Gras greeting, our friends from Kombi & Co will be dropping the beats with pro DJs mixing live on Tuesday at Innovation Plaza from 7.30-9.30am and on Locomotive Street from 11am-3pm. 

And on Wednesday cool down before Mardi Gras’ biggest day – Mardi Gras Parade at the SCG on Saturday March 5 – with free giveaways throughout the day. To stop your week from being a “drag”, you can also expect to see some of the fun and colour of our LGBTQI community by partying with the drag queens as they strut their stuff on Locomotive street from 11am-2pm. 

On Thursday, among the other fun activities leading up to the big event, will be all the colour and noise of Dollar Bin Darlings who will be dropping some groovy disco tunes on Locomotive Street from Midday-2pm.
