Happy Diwali

Join us at South Eveleigh for a three-day celebration of Diwali from Tuesday, 29 to Thursday, 31 October! Everyone is welcome to partake in this vibrant and joyous event, where we’ll embrace the art of gift-giving and the spirit of Diwali.

Each day will feature beautifully styled pop-ups offering unique, delightful gifts to symbolise the festival of lights. But there’s a twist — to score these gifts, you’ll need to join in the fun and participate in engaging games located inside Locomotive Workshop, in front of The Eveleigh.

The celebration will be accompanied by an incredible line-up of musical performances that showcase the rich and diverse sounds of Diwali celebrations from across South Asia. On Day 1, lose yourself in the soothing melodies of Indian classical music with captivating performances on the Sitar, Tabla, and Flute. Day 2 amps up the energy with Bhangra music and dance performance, complete with traditional choreography and vibrant costumes. Finally, on Day 3, the electrifying Dunki Dance Group will bring Bollywood to life with a dynamic, colourful showcase that blends various Indian dance styles for a grand finale you won’t want to miss!
