Redfern Station Upgrade Update August 2022
Pedestrian access to Platform 10 will be closed between 2am Saturday 30 July and 2am Monday 1 August. Traffic control and detour signs will be in
place to direct pedestrians via Gibbons Street.
During August, a temporary road closure on Rosehill and Marian Streets and removal of 5 parking spaces on Cornwallis Street will be in place for a period of five consecutive days, from Monday 1 August to Friday 5 August.
Service investigation, excavation and stormwater installation will also occur intermittently at the corner of Little Eveleigh Street and Lawson Street on the following dates: 8am Saturday 27 August to 6am Monday 29 August. A single lane closure on Lawson Street will be in place during these times. Traffic control, a detour and signage will be in place to safely direct and assist motorists, cyclists, and pedestrians.
Changes to Parking:
Parking will be temporarily removed on surrounding streets for service searching and the delivery of plant and equipment to our site compounds.
- Rosehill Street: Up to 5parking spaces will be temporarily unavailable from Monday 1 August to Wednesday 31 August.
- Wilson Street: Up to six parking spaces will be temporarily unavailable from Wednesday 24 August to Wednesday 31 August.
