New Salmon on the Block

All Fishbowl locations will be serving the most sustainable and delicious king salmon on the planet. 

The ocean-farmed king salmon is raised in the pristine waters of Big Glory Bay at Stewart Island in New Zealand. The salmon is BAP (Best Aquaculture Practices) certified and it's 100% GM (genetic modification), antibiotic and hormone-free.

Big Glory Bay is located at the bottom of New Zealand – the isolated area and the purity of it’s waters have allowed the fish to grow healthily, disease and lice-free even without antibiotics. The bay’s pristine waters are constantly refreshed by cold currents at a stable chilly temperature at 12°C. The cool conditions slow the salmon’s growth, giving it time to develop it’s distinctive rich and smooth flavour.

The salmon from Big Glory Bay is renowned for its rich flavour, melt-in-the-mouth texture and clean finish, now available at Fishbowl South Eveleigh. There are three salmon options available at Fishbowl – The O.G is perfect if you prefer sashimi-style fresh salmon, and the Miso Salmon and Spicy Salmon will surely hit the spot if you’re in the mood for something warm and hearty.
